"I've had my '95 FLHTCUI in twice now for service. I was hesitant to bring it in because I was worried both that it would be unreasonably expensive and also I've heard horror stories about dealers who refuse to work on Evos because they don't employ guys who know how to wrench on them anymore. Both fears proved unfounded. Extra props to Parker. Not only is he as nice and professional a dealer service technician as I've ever encountered, he remembered me (by name even) and my bike when I brought it in the 2nd time. "Mark *** Wayne *** Blake ***** I decided I wanted to get back into motorcycle riding after sever (17) years of not ridding. Like Most people I start looking at the want ads and see what was out there. I hate buying used because you never know what you’re going to go. So I started checking out new bikes and it lead me to the Harley. We filled out a credit app and a few hours later Mark called and talk with my wife and gave her all the detail. I walked in at 4:15 on a Friday and looked at the bike and decided on the Red one. Wayne drew up some agreements and we started the process. We showed up on Monday and Blake was outstanding. Finished the paper work took my check for the bike and got me ready to go and was out the door Showed me the bike answered all my questions and was top notched. I don't remember the lady's name I bought my helmet and jacket from but she was blond and over the top as well. Very helpful and made the buying experience easy and worth the time. When I came back in the 2nd time she called me by name as well. Mark did answer my wife question on the phone, but didn't really give me the time I thought I deserved for a $9000 bike and more than likely my first of many H-D Motorcycles. Wayne, just acted like he was going through the motion and the opinion I got was he just thought we were tire kickers and would not be back to get the bike. When I went back in there a week later to get my Jacket as well as some Mirror extenders Mark did come back and remember me and asked about the bike and all. For that matter so did Blake and he called me by name. "

"on the 10th of june I set out to find my new lowrider which is a tough time of year I learned but jim from the sales dept. of the slc dealer helped me locate one at the south valley store where scott and wendy where great to work with they showed me a the bike right away and got working on Financing and the sales paperwork right away with a hurry to take care of me knowing that I had over an hour drive to get home I was pleased to work with them and wish they worked at a dealer closer to home. send my thanks to jim at the slc store and wendy at the south valley store you guys have a great team keep it up."

"on 5/27 while riding from oakland, ca to detroit, the alternator on my '82 FXRS stopped puting out juice in delta, ut. after buying a cheap set of jumpers and getting the bike started with the help of strangers, i rode to SLC and spent the nite in a motel with the battery charger on. the next morning i rode a short distance to your shop and was pleasantly suprised to hear james parker in your service dept tell me not only were the parts in stock but that the service staff could and would work on my Shovelhead. not the case at most dealers in the SF Bay area. i was back on the road in less than 3 hours! i made it to detroit no sweat and never saw so many volts! my thanks to james, the reps who worked on the bike and the parts and clothing staff as well, as i made a few purchase there. it's seldom the norm to get such great service and help these days. keep up the good work and i'll stop in again some day. keith karn "

I have been able to purchase several accessories from your parts department and your shop on State St is actually repairing it right now. "i have already filled one of these out before, but i wanted to add some comments. in December i bought my h.d. and my father bought his 1 month later. Today was one of the nicest days we have had yet this year, so myself my father, and a group of friends decided we would go for a ride. we rode for about ten hours and on the trip, just felt that this was one of the better days i have had in the recent past. Thinking back the last ten years my father and i have grown apart. the last couple of months since we both bought our bikes we have seen each other more than the last five years. And hung out for the better part of a whole day when i had thought that we have grown apart too far to repair without a tragic incident happening. So i would like to thank the HARLEY-DAVIDSON of salt lake group and especially frank for helping me even though every other place i looked at bikes they ignored me, maybe thinking i did not have the means to buy. Thanks again frank you and your team helped my father and i get close like a father and son should be. And when my son turns sixteen and can ride i am sure you will be there to keep our relationship strong as well."

"You know I have a real hard time giving someone perfect scores when I buy something or look at something, but the experience here was awesome. Frank, my sales person, was absolutely incredible. he helped me even though I may not look like the Harley buyer being young and not your typical biker. He helped anyways without me asking for help. In my experience when you are after a specialty item, and a harley definitely is a specialty item, salespeople generally look at customers with a look of money. I didn't buy an expensive bike but was treated as though I bought the most expensive. it turned out great as I sent in two buddies and my dad to one. thanks to you and your team Frank, my wife and my freinds wife aren't the happiest with you guys right now."

"Having purchased my 2008 Road Glide in Montana, I hit the road on my way back to California. I hit the 1000 mile mark right outside of Salt Lake City, so I found your dealership and rode in at 12:10pm. You took my bike in and started the service immediately. I was able to step out, get lunch and return to have my bike serviced, washed and ready to go. I was back on the road within 3 hours. Thank you again for your great service staff. "

"took my sporty in with a minor oil leak with no apponitment, parker was very busy but took time to look at it! he was willing to get on it that day and also have it done the same day! man, i didnt think this kind of service was available anymore, he could have said without an appointment i would need to leave it for days! and i would have accepted this, but he didnt!, he was very vice and freindly and made me feel like i was number one! this is what sets apart people that just do the job with the people that want to take care of customers and there needs and understand how people want to be treated! thanks to joe timmons for keeping staff like PARKER! because of this you have my buisness for as long as people like parker are there! "My wife and I recently rented a Road Glide from SLC HD. Damain Johnston got me through the paperwork and had the bike ready in no time. What a great time we had riding through the canyons! I thought that our flight out the next day was 10:45 am, BUT at 7:30 am that morning in Park City (30 minutes away) that actually our flight is at 9:20 am. The store doesn't open until 9am. We take the bike back to the store and arrive at 8:15 am. At the same time Lloyd Eastman from the service dept. arrives early. Before he can even get off his bike, we plead our case. His reply "No problem lets get you going". He opens the service door up and gets the bike checked back in and we are free and clear by 8:30 am. Lloyd could have easily said that we don't open up until 9am, but he stepped up big time! By the way my wife and I made it to the airport in time to check in our rental car, check our bags and make our flight back home. I can't say enough about SLC HD rental dept. Lloyd and Damian are top notch in my book. I highly recommend renting a bike from these guys! Jeff S. Leavenworth, KS"

"The Air Force has brought me to the Salt Lake from San Antonio, TX and my FLHX was due for its 5000-mile service. I contacted Salt Lake City HD and had a scheduled appointment within five days. When I arrive, the service manager, Jim Parker greeted me; his hospitality made me fell like a "VIP". Mr. Parker patiently answered all my questions and told me he would call when my bike was ready, not even 24 hours later he called. I pick up my bike and it was running better than it ever has. No matter what you need; service, parts or purchasing a new bike, I would recommend Salt Lake City HD to anyone. Thanks SLC HD."

"My wife and I were traveling home from our West Coast vacation back to Iowa. We had a tire problem and had to be towed to your shop. When we arrived there was a technican helping to unload my bike the second the truck stopped. He pulled my bike inside, fixed my tire, and had us back on the road in an hour. "Jim Hall you are the man!! I have purchased 2 bikes from SLC harley over the past 2 years, I would not do business with SLC Harley if it were not for Jim. "This is my first bike. I bought a 2007 softail custom one week before Thanksgiving. I can"t say enough good things about your two sales guys Frank and Jim. Frank instinctively knew what model to point me towards and this softail custom is the perfect bike for me. I LOVE THIS BIKE!! Jim was very helpful through out the buying process. "I recently suffered a catastrophic engine failure on my 2001 Superglide on my way thru SLC. It was neccessarry to get it towed into the dealership. Your service manager I believe, one Mr. James Parker was very helpful from helping my buddy arrange (since HOG services had dropped the ball) to helping us with transport to lodging to ascertaining that my bike was not going any further under it's own power. His efforts, along with several of your shop guys whose names I did not get were most appreciated in a tough time. Thanks again for all the help. He and his crew deserve many kudos for all thre help given a stranded traveler."

"As a individual that has requirements for travel I was lucky enough to be able to visit the SLC H-D dealership a few days ago while on travel. It is a habit of mine to always pick up a t-shirt or two of local dealership when I am in their area. I took a cab from my hotel and before I could even find my way around the store I was asked if I needed assistance by more than one person. Not "pushy" sales talk but genuine service is what was evidenced by the staff. I picked up a couple of t-shirts, checked out the shop and then asked if they could contact a cab for me since I did not have ny own transportation to get back to my hotel. Before I knew it, a telephone call had been placed by staff and a cab was on its way. Standing outside, waiting for the cab, a local customer stopped and asked if I needed any help. I told him of my situation and he began to tell me about the dealership and areas to ride. I don't believe I heard a negative comment and only praise for the SLC dealership. Due to the service and friendliness of the staff at SLC H-D I did not doubt him one bit. It's a shame there are not more dealerships such as yours on the east coast.
